1.Zurich City Tour with Audio Commentary

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 372 reviews · 2 hours (approx.) · from $44Our pick

See Zurich’s Old Town, lake, churches, villas, and Alpine views from a comfortable audio-guided trolley in about two hours.

“You need to redeem a paper ticket from Box office which was not clear to many people. Late departure by 10 min. Initially commentary did not match where we were. The stop along way scheduled ten minutes was over 15 minutes. Then last part was stuck idling in traffic for over 25 minutes - yes that can’t be avoided but nearly 1/4 tour with traffic should be advised. Would have been good to have a higher up point for photo opportunity”

Explore Zurich’s Old Town at your own pace with an affordable audio tour covering churches, monuments, Roman baths, and river views.

“It was my first time in Zürich and I wanted an in depth experience at my own pace. I also had marked on my phone a few sites or stores I wanted to see as well. This was perfect! I was able to skip aspects I did not want to see very easily and go to additional places without needing to backtrack. I appreciated the thoroughness and the fact that I got a written transcript of the audio. For the price, it was an easy choice. You do need to make sure to have internet and I recommend a good pair of walking shoes because you are going to walk…”

4.Self-Guided Audio Tour to the Dark Side of Zurich

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 14 reviews · 1 to 2 hours (approx.) · from $13

Explore Zurich’s darker past on a flexible audio walk covering witches, executions, hidden streets, and medieval justice for $13.22.

“This definitely got you walking around the town more than we would normally have, but the audio has a lot of filler facts or list of facts that don’t really add to the experience. I think it’s okay to do if you’re looking for some interesting facts about the city and it gives you an insight to the darker side of the city. I think it was just too dark for me because I’m sensitive to human rights, and there doesn’t seem to have been much of that back then.”
